Athletes Compete in District 7 Special Olympics
Fifteen adult athletes from Scioto County competed at the District 7 Special Olympics Track and Field Meet, April 28 at Rio Grande University.

SCBDD Heads Transportation Plan, Receives Grant for Vehicles

Many served by SCBDD may not have transportation from their homes after 4 p.m. during the week or on weekends, thereby keeping them from participating in their community. The addition of three shuttle buses will help alleviate that problem.

Ramp allows for additional access to building, which houses multiple programs 
New Video Spotlights Importance of Community Employment Program

The Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities (SCBDD) has produced a new short video – “Exploring Community Employment” – that addresses the advantages of the Community Employment Program as experienced by individuals in the program and their parents.
