SCBDD releases 2015 annual report online

The 2015 annual report for the Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities (SCBDD) is now available to stakeholders online at SciotoCountyDD.org.

This year’s title is The Many Faces of Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities and features photos and stories from areas of the agency that are crucial in serving out the mission of SCBDD, but which often fly under the radar.

One such area is the Intake Department, housed at the Carousel Center, through which an individual’s eligibility for services is determined. The annual report also features the Community Employment Program’s successful partnership with Shawnee State University’s Athletics Department in the employment of Assistant to the Coach Ray Seth.

“We are always excited about sharing information about our program and highlighting the individuals we serve,” said SCBDD Superintendent Julie Monroe. “I encourage everyone in our community to take the time to review the report.”

Print copies of The Many Faces of Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be available soon. Community members may also view the annual report via a link on the agency’s Facebook page.
